Mary Holmgren Fine Art
Welcome to my website! I am a watercolor painter who works in a non-traditional manner.
Because I work in series, my Gallery is divided into four main themes. I will note there is crossover between the themes, as I generally work on all areas simultaneously, using ideas and processes from one theme as I work on another. I am constantly experimenting and trying new ideas. In general, though there is abstraction in all my work, the jazz and water series are more loose and intuitive, and the landscape series works are more deliberate and introspective.
If you see a painting or area that interests you, and you would like to see more of the same, please contact me. I have more work in my studio that did not get included on this site, and you may find that special piece that speaks to you and is looking for a place in your home!
